Koppanyszanto Village Guest Table
The village guest table is an initiative run by Hungary to give the opportunity to small producers to offer their visitors a taste of homegrown harvests and traditions passed down through the generations so you can be sure everything will be fresh! Our orchards and vine are well established now and we are planting a kitchen and infusion garden aimed at wellbeing and sustainability. This has involved us learning new skills that we are happy to share.
We love our guests to take part with the outdoor cooking, especially the hungarian kettle cooking, which is seen as men’s work in Hungary. As part of this initiative we also make jams, soups, syrups and liquors which we invite you to actively help. We are also developing a range of infused products in particular blended teas and tisanes using plants foraged and grown in our infusion garden. We have also built a pizza oven this year for our guests use and are looking to build a Tandoori oven next year. So whether it’s cooking or building there’s always a learning experience at Koppany Pines if you want it!
We are able to facilitate up to 16 people at our guest table events but you need to book a place. Dates maybe found on our events page together with our other artisans events.
