REWILD WITH HYGGE

(Hygge, pronounced “hoo-gah,”)

Rekindle your connection with nature in a slow easy way with hygge and relearn to appreciate life’s small pleasures. Enjoy the slow pace of nature, create hygge moments and memories with our nature workshops, following our local walking trails, enjoying picnics by the lake, starry nights, beautiful sunsets, thermal baths and campfire flames. Surround yourself with nature’s offerings of warmth, light, water and fresh air and find new friendships & laughter.  Take advantage of our Rewild Tea Haz and indulge in seasonal food and drink from nature’s larder.

Koppany Pines is a small site located on the walking trails of the Koppányvölgy Natúrpark (Koppany Valley Nature Park), in rural Hungary.  Our concept has been developed from our five years of receiving guests.  Our goal is to live a hygge lifestyle, practicing hygge is all about doing things that know are good for lowering stress and boosting wellness, from the food and drink we consume, to spending time with people we care about. On site we encourage slow living and enjoying nature whilst creating special moments and memories.

Onsite numbers are kept low to ensure rest and relaxation. The programs run from Thursday evening to Monday afternoon, the rest of the time we adopt a very hands off approach so you choose your own pace.  Any activities you want to join us for just book online or find us onsite.  You must book in advance for numbers.  Our workshops range from foodie events to a variety of nature, bushcraft, wildcraft and wellbeing activities.  For more information visit our Rewild Tea Haz & Workshops.

For the 2024 season we are building a natural plunge pond for lazing on those hot summer days, with great views across the valley.  We made the decision to take a more natural route, rather than maintaining a pool with chemicals as this is more in keeping with our ethos.

Very very good place to hang out and chill out and settle your mind for a couple of days!  This place is a really nice and easygoing place to hang out for a few days and chill. The hosts Mark and Debbie really take care of you and give you a high quality time to enjoy the stay. The breakfast is very good and you can choose from a list of items. The rooms and other facilities are very clean and also give a nice easygoing feeling as well. There is a possibility to dine at the terrace and drink something at the bar as well.
